Our music programs
All across Australia, disadvantaged children and youth engage in free, long-term music programs presented by our specialist teachers.
Juvenile Justice Centres
We believe that it is critical to create an outlet for youth in detention to express themselves in a positive way. #
Children in hospital benefit immensely from the opportunity to engage in music lessons, presented by our specialist teachers.
National Songwriting Competition
Every year, students from across Australia are invited to put pen to paper and enter their original songs.
"A love of music"
"If we can't nurture a love of music, we are doing children a disservice... Just about every child in school would love a music lesson. That balance of creative and academic is what education should be about"
“Playing an instrument"
"Playing an instrument expands a child’s creativity and imagination, building positive neural pathways"
“Expression and regulation”
"Children with trauma use music as a form of expression and regulation"
"Music concepts such as rhythm, beat-counting and song-writing influences students' ability to better deal with Maths and English lessons"
