TEACHING RESOURCE FOR DON SPENCER’S SONG “Heroes – For Love of Country” – $25
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN CHILDREN’S MUSIC FOUNDATION (ACMF)
This song was written by singer-songwriter Don Spencer OAM after a conversation had with a school principal in Sydney. It was mentioned that there were no songs acknowledging the Indigenous service personnel that fought in any conflict where Australian troops were deployed, so Don wrote the song in 2016 for the school choir to perform.
This resource is suitable for years 3-6.
There are four parts to this resource:
1. The song ‘Heroes’
