2022 marks the 20th year of the ACMF's National Songwriting Competition - which we will be opening very soon!!! ⁠

We have seen some incredible young talent rise up and make some wonderful musical achievements over the years and we feel so proud to be a a part of the journey for these young upcoming artists.⁠

The NSC gives school aged children from K - 12 the chance to reflect, create, inspire and immerse themselves in music - as well as the chance to win some incredible prizes 🎁 (all will be revealed very soon...)⁠

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing the successes of some of our past competition winners as well as some inspirational tips & tricks from some of our very own supporters and ambassadors❤️⁠

Strong research confirms that music helps children gain confidence, promotes healthy brain function that supports learning, increases school attendance and heightens positive emotion through the reward centres of our brain ♥️⁠

• June 30 is End of Financial Year - the ACMF need your help to provide more children & youth at risk with free music education through schools, Juvenile Justice Centres & hospitals - inspiring creativity, bringing joy and hope, and achieving positive educational and behavioural outcomes.⁠

The ACMF have many wonderful people throughout Australia who continue to help us provide music programs and instruments and bring joy, hope and music education to children across Australia in schools, Juvenile Justice Centres and Hospitals. ⁠

We were treated to some sensational performances by our young National Songwriting Competition winners, @Lucy_Parle & @Bailey_ pickles_music as well as @Sophiepattersonmusic. They were followed by our great Ambassadors, Rob Mills, Ciaran Gribbin, Ria Pirelli and our guitar virtuoso @Peter_northcote… all just brilliant!!!⁠
