National Songwriting Competition 2024 Entry Form

Please read the Terms and Conditions for the competition at before filling in this form.
If you submit your entry as a school entry, your teacher will be the contact person for all communication regarding the competition. If you enter as an independent, your parent/guardian will be the contact person.

Your Details

If you are entering as an individual, this will be the name of the student who wrote the song. If you are entering as a group, nominate one student as the main contact point – you will be able to enter the names of other people in the group later in this form.
Enter your grade year as a number. If you are a group, this will be the grade year of the oldest group member.
This will be the email address of the entrants parent/guardian if an independant entry, or the teacher if a school entry. This is used for all communications regarding the competition.
If homeschooled, enter “Homeschooled” as school name.
This can be your principal, the music teacher at your school or your private music teacher.

If you are entering as a group, the category you enter MUST be the learning year of the oldest member of the group.
We’d love to see you in action – you can enter a URL (web link) to a video on youtube, facebook or other web services here. This can either be a video of your song, or a short (less than 30 seconds) video of you talking about what songwriting and music means to you. The video will NOT be judged, but we may link to your video as part of our social media campaigns.

Entry Fee

Entry to the ACMF National Songwriting Competition is free – however, a donation to the Australian Children’s Music Foundation to support the running of this Competition would be very much appreciated!
