A Legacy of Song
The Wynyard Choir is a cornerstone of the Tasmanian arts community. Founded in 1988, it has evolved over 38 years into a flourishing ensemble of over 55 members. From Smithton to Burnie, these performers share a simple but powerful mission: to spread joy through four-part harmony.
Led by Conductor Lydia Long and accompanied by pianist Jill Bacon, the choir lives by the motto: “Sing out with Joy!”
