When global superstar Ed Sheeran brought his record-breaking tour to Australia, the music was only half the story. Behind the scenes, a partnership between Frontier Touring and the ACMF was ensuring that the magic of live performance reached those who could only dream of seeing him in concert.
A Shared Global Mission
It is no surprise that Ed Sheeran supports the work of the ACMF. In the UK, he established the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation, which focuses on providing grants for high-quality music education and resources to young people.
Ed’s personal commitment to ensuring that a child’s financial background doesn’t dictate their musical future aligns perfectly with our mission here in Australia. By providing tickets to our students and families, Frontier Touring turned that shared vision into a reality for tens of families across Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney who otherwise would not have had the means to attend.
In Their Own Words: The Impact of a “First Concert”
For many of the families invited – including those from Granville South Public School – this wasn’t just a concert; it was a milestone. Karen Macphail, the Principal of Granville South, shared the raw, heartfelt feedback she received from parents following the show:
