This week, the Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF) is pleased to share that it will continue as a social impact partner of Future Generation Australia (ASX: FGX).
Future Generation recently announced its refined 2025 philanthropic focus: helping vulnerable young children defy the odds and thrive. Guided by landmark research such as the 2023 Australian Child Maltreatment Study, Future Generation is addressing the devastating effects of childhood trauma by investing in organisations that deliver positive childhood experiences — those relationships and opportunities proven to help children recover, heal, and flourish.
From 329 applicants, they selected six exceptional new social impact partners: Brave Foundation; GUTS Dance; Karinya House; KidsXpress; Yawarda Services and Yiliyapinya. These organisations are all small to medium-sized, with proven track records and the capacity to grow their impact. They join five existing partners – The Australian Children’s Music Foundation, Giant Steps, Lighthouse Foundation, Mirabel Foundation, and Raise Foundation – in a dynamic impact portfolio that balances continuity with renewal, while expanding FGX’s geographic footprint into Western Australia, the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory.
Future Generation’s long-term support has enabled ACMF to deliver weekly music programs to thousands of children living in disadvantaged and high-risk environments across Australia. These programs use the power of music to build creativity, resilience, joy, and confidence — giving children the chance to thrive despite adversity.
ACMF is proud to continue this partnership and to stand alongside its fellow impact partners working to create brighter futures for vulnerable children nationwide.
