We are thrilled to announce that we have been named a 2025 Telethon7 Beneficiary!
This incredible support will allow us to bring the life-changing benefits of music education to over 1,200 children in Western Australia through the following music programs:
- Connection, Creativity, Communication – More Than Just Music
We are extremely excited to expand our music program offering in Western Australia to four new schools in the Perth area where we will provide every child at these schools access to an immersive and engaging music lesson. Taught each week, activities during the lesson are developed in consultation with the schools and include singing, drumming, rhythm reading, and instrumental skills.
- Music for Hope
The funding provided by Telethon7 also allows for the continuation of our music programs in the Kimberley region and within six School of Alternative Learning Settings (SALS) venues. Children we engage with are experiencing difficulties including trauma, discrimination, social isolation, learning difficulties, and attention deficit disorders, and it is our music programs which builds confidence, hoping to help break the cycle of negative behaviour.
Both these programs will do more than teach musical skills – they will foster creativity, help spark imagination, and positively contribute to educational, mental health, and behavioural outcomes.
Music has the power to inspire, uplift, and create a sense of belonging. We are proud to bring this to children who need it most and we are incredibly grateful to the Channel 7 Telethon Trust for their unwavering belief in our work. Their generosity has been instrumental in allowing us to expand our programs and reach more children across Western Australia.
With Telethon7’s support, we will continue to transform lives through music, giving disadvantaged children in Western Australia the opportunity to express themselves, build confidence, and create a brighter future.
