Smiles for Sick Kids
The Australian Children’s Music Foundation had a wonderful day of laughing, dancing and singing at Sydney Children’s Hospital, celebrating Music Therapy week.
Held in the Starlight room filled with patients plus many more viewing from wards via live TV, our Don Spencer OAM performed some lively favourite tunes with Music Therapists Monica, Dave and Matt, plus a special guest appearance from Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation CEO, Kristina Keneally.
We have been supporting the Music Therapy program for over 10 years at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
This program brings joy, comfort and happiness to children and their families at a time when young people may be facing long rehabilitation programs or life-threatening illnesses.
