Scholarship Recipient Rocks On
Not only does the ACMF provide free music tuition and instruments throughout Australia but every year we award a scholarship to an ACMF music student who displays outstanding personal and musical attributes.
This scholarship, the Joel Abernethy Advantage, was established by the ACMF in 2014, with a generous donation from Joel’s parents, Wendy Smyrk and John Abernethy, to honour their son’s memory.
In 2019, Kurt Stephenson was the lucky recipient of this scholarship. Look at how far he has come and how much this opportunity has enhanced and grown his love of music. Well done Kurt!
