ACMF Founder Don Spencer – On what the ACMF foundation means to him and why he thinks it has stood the test of time.

Throughout Don’ s almost 60 year career as a songwriter and performer, there is nothing he is more proud of than the past 20 years (this year), as the founder and CEO of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.

Though there have been challenges with COVID over the past 2 years, the ACMF has expanded its programs into remote areas of Australia including Kalgoorlie WA and the Tiwi Islands NT.

The ACMF also celebrates 10 years working with and supporting Music Therapy in the Sydney Children’s Hospital as well as within Juvenile Justice Centres across the country, where specialised musicians work to transform young lives that have come off track.
