Jazz legend James Morrison concert at Kirrawee High School

Jazz legend James Morrison concert at Kirrawee High School

For 28 years, Kirrawee High School has had the pleasure of hosting a one-night-only concert with the world renowned jazz musician James Morrison. This year, the school has decided to “pay it forward”, and will donate a portion of the sales of premium tickets to the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.

The concert’s aim is to acknowledge the incredible opportunities that Kirrawee High School students have received from annual visits and music workshops with James Morrison, and also from the legacy of music in the school left by current and past teachers.

The ticket donation is the school’s way of honouring the passion that both James Morrison and ACMF CEO and Founder, Don Spencer share for music education in schools across Australia.

James will return to the Kirrawee High School Hall on Tuesday 24th September, along with the James Morrison Quartet. The first half of the night will feature the Kirrawee High School Jazz Orchestra and vocalists, accompanied by James. The second half will feature a more intimate a focus on the legend himself, Mr James Morrison and his quartet.
