News about our wonderful International Ambassadors…
We love celebrating the achievements of all our Ambassadors – and this month our two International ones have been very busy!
London-based saxophonist, Amy Dickson (can you spot her in the photo with our CEO and founder, Don Spencer at a Sydney school a while back?) has just released a fabulous new disc called ‘Glass’ on Sony Classical, to celebrate Philip Glass’ 80th birthday. We’ve been listening to some of it in the ACMF office – it’s fabulous! You can read more about it here or buy it here. She’s also just launched a new campaign in English primary schools called ‘Take a Breath’, helping children develop resilience and a feeling of well-being, which we think is fabulous! You can read more about it here.
Our other International Ambassador, Mirusia, has just spent the last two weeks topping Australia’s Classical charts with her album ‘This Time Tomorrow’ – what an achievement! You can read ore about it here…
Both Amy and Mirusia help us enormously whenever they are in Australia – advocating, playing, visiting schools and raising money, and we are really proud of them and their successes. Well done, you two!
