We LOVE hearing stories about our previous song-competition winners, and watching their musical journeys.
Last year we were sent pictures of Thomas, a winner in the K-2 category, being presented with his winning certificate at school. Elizabeth, a winner in the 5-6 category, appeared on ABC’s 702 ‘Evenings’ with our CEO and founder, Don Spencer OAM. Paige, a winner in the 11-12 category sent us a picture of her and the instruments she’d bought with her prize money.
We’ve also just heard that Alana, a winner from the 2014 and 2015 competitions, is the voice of the new NRMA nation-wide ad campaign. Her prize in 2015 was time in a recording studio, and she was given the gig after the producer heard her sing and record there. (Want to see the ad? We love Alana’s voice!
