A HUGE thank you to the wonderful Matt Cross who busked on our behalf in Newcastle and Albury over the silly season.
Here’s Matt’s last Facebook post about his busking that made us all smile and really appreciate what he did even more….
“Thank you to all the generous people who gave money on the streets, or online at Everyday Hero.
Whilst dressed as a reindeer and busking, there were two questions I would constantly get asked which I’ll now answer:
1) “Why are you busking for charity and not for yourself?”
I’m lucky enough to be able play music everyday. Not everyone is as lucky. Realising that a small amount of effort can help disadvantaged kids experience the magic of music, makes it enormously worthwhile.
2) “Is it hot inside that costume?”
It wasn’t cold.”
