The Taree School Spectacular was…. well, spectacular!

What a HUGE day last Thursday in Taree! So many children performed as part of the two shows – and we were really proud to have loads of our kids from every ACMF program in Taree up on stage. There were bands that really  rocked from Taree High and Chatham High, fabulous singers from Chatham Public School and Cundletown Primary School (Cundletown isn’t really an ACMF school, but their choir came to sing with our CEO and Founder Don Spencer in the evening and did themselves proud!), drummers from Taree public school who brought the house down and the cutest percussion players ever from Manning Gardens Public School. A huge congratulations to ACMF teachers Brad, Stuart, Jake, Rachel and Ben who got all the kids ready. A big thank you to ACMF friends and ambassadors George Ellis, Pete Stevenson and George Houvardas for sharing their time and talents. Don Spencer had the crowd singing (and bleating and barking) along in both shows. All the proceeds from the two shows go towards sustaining our programs… a big thank you to Maurie Stack and everyone from the combined Rotary Clubs of Taree for all their help and support.

You can see some photos from the concerts here, and even catch the kids from Manning Gardens on NBN news here.

We promise we’ll post more photos once we get them!
