A big thank you to Cirque du Soleil!
Last week, we were able to take a whole class of children involved in a Sydney program on a special night out, thanks to the good folks at Cirque du Soleil. We were offered a whole bunch of free tickets to the preview night of their new show ‘Kooza’, and the year 6 class at Banksmeadow Public were lucky to be chosen to go (a big thank you to their teacher, Mr Murphy for all his organisation!). The kids absolutely loved it -not just the fairy floss and the ‘big top’, but all the acts – the contortionists were really popular, as were the gravity-defying acrobats on the ‘wheel of death’. So many laughs, smiles, shrieks – and tired children the next day! A HUGE thanks to Jennifer at ‘Cirque’ for the tickets – they were so appreciated!
