A slightly taller ACMF music class in Taree!
ACMF Education Manager Rachel Scott was a keynote speaker at the Rotary District 9650 conference last weekend. The ACMF is given fabulous support by the Rotary Clubs of Taree, helping us run five programs up there – a big thank you to everyone who helps us with that! Rachel spoke about the work of the ACMF and her experiences as a teacher – and finished the presentation by teaching all 400-odd delegates body percussion to the ‘March’ from the Nutcracker ballet. She then called for volunteers to come and play it with her on stage using percussion instruments – and got 20 people to help her very quickly (including a visitor from Zambia, and another from Tanzania!). It was a huge hit!
