An ACMF saxophone going to a new home

An ACMF saxophone going to a new home

We run an instrument recycling scheme and have all sort of instruments donated to us. Most of the time they go to an ACMF program, but sometimes we can help children who are not part of an ACMF program, but deserving of help all the same. A few weeks ago, we got a call from a single mum really struggling to pay hire fees for her daughter’s saxophone. Ruby (the young sax player) is heavily involved in her school’s music programs, and one day hopes to be a musician herself. It just so happened that we had the right size saxophone in our storeroom, and were able to present it to Ruby who dropped into our office. There were tears all round as she picked up HER new sax, and had a play! Good luck, Ruby! We can’t wait to hear how you are going!
