The ACO visit Sunshine Harvester Primary School, Melbourne
The ACMF and the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) have been working together for the last four years bringing highly successful concerts and workshops to various primary schools in Sydney and they were delighted to be visiting Sunshine Harvester Primary School in Melbourne on Monday 5th May 2014.
ACMF teacher Rachel Scott and four ACO musicians presented an interactive concert for the whole school and workshops for the Year 6 students. Parents, staff and students all agreed that it was a ‘magical’ day. They laughed and learnt about music patterns, Mozart and more as Rachel, Ilya, Mark, Sasha and Melissa introduced each instrument and engaged the children a number of listening games.
