ACMF Board Member, visits her old school that now has an ACMF program!

ACMF Board Member, Melanie Mossman was thrilled to visit her old school, Chifley Public School, as a guest speaker to address the parents attending the Kindergarten Orientation for 2014.

Melanie and the parents enjoyed seeing the combined school choir perform an amusing rendition of John Brown’s Baby with actions and sound effects.  As an ex student and past School Captain, Melanie was proud to be able to tell the parents about the revitalised music program at the school and the benefits of a music education for their children.  As a result of an ACO – ACMF partnership which provides professional development workshops for teachers on how to teach music, every class at Chifley PS now enjoys weekly music lessons with tuned and untuned percussion instruments.  Melanie has been invited by Principal Louise Stone to attend the School Presentation Night in December.
