ACMF Combined Choir open the May 2013, Taree Community Cabinet
An ACMF combined schools choir was invited to sing the National Anthem for the opening of the NSW Government Community Cabinet in Taree on 20 May 2013.
Led by our passionate ACMF teachers, Matt Zarb and Mick Eyb, 20 students from Chatham Public, Taree Public and Manning Gardens Public Schools made their schools and us very proud.
Don, Peter, Vicki and Trish watched a terrific music class with Mick Eyb’s Year 5s at Manning Gardens. They then met with the NSW Attorney General, Greg Smith and the Minister for Mental Health, Kevin Humphries and a number of other non-government organisations to discuss new ACMF programs in Taree which target young people who are at risk or need to be re-engaged with school.
ACMF is making a difference in the lives of hundreds of young people in Taree -we are pleased to be working with all Taree Rotary Clubs and with support from individual community members and other organisations.
