ICAP have done it again!
Wonderful news from our good friends at ICAP!
They have just donated a very generous amount to the ACMF that was raised during their annual ICAP Charity Day late last year. It’s the 2nd time that ACMF has benefited from ICAP’s kindness and means that our program at Matraville Soldiers’ Settlement Public School (MSSPS) will continue.
The ICAP Charity Day is an annual worldwide event that sees celebrities visit various ICAP offices around the globe on a day when every region donates all revenues and commissions to charity. In the last 20 years ICAP has raised just over $100 million in this way!
The ICAP management and staff really get into the mood of the day by dressing up themselves and their workstations. When we arrived at the Sydney office with some of our celebrity ACMF Ambassadors, we were immediately greeted by the Adams Family, KISS and The Flintstones!
ACMF Ambassadors Danielle Spencer, John Waters, George Houvardas, Tim Freedman and Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson all joined in the fun on the phones along with ACMF Founder and CEO, Don Spencer OAM.
The kids in the ACMF free music education program at MSSPS are all looking forward to the ICAP cheque presentation later in the month and are already rehearsing a performance for ICAP CEO, Brad Howell and STIR Desk Head, Jason Howell.
Donating enough money for the ACMF music program to run for another entire year at Matraville Soldiers’ Settlement Public School, changing the lives of its 200 young students, is an amazing effort and commitment to those less fortunate and a leading best practice example of corporate philanthropy. Thank you IPAC. We couldn’t do it without you!
